The iDex is a state-of-the-art video magnifier designed for low vision laptop and PC users requiring fast and powerful real time video magnification. Its duel use allows for both distance and document reading. Students and professionals can now benefit from this contemporary and easy-to-use solution.

The iDex is an advanced magnifier that offers a foldable and lightweight solution. Simply load the iDex software, plug the iDex into the computer using the USB 2.0 cable supplied. Then you are ready to integrate with commercial applications to see things in full colour or enhanced with different contrast settings. The iDex is fully compatible with popular screen enlargement software packages, like Zoomtext and Supernova. It is both Windows Vista and Windows XP compatible.

Foci Logo No batteries or external supply are required. Everything is provided through the USB 2.0 cable. The iDex can be controlled with either the mouse or hot keys to alter all necessary functions. Users can easily change the magnification, text and background colours, turn the auto focus on or off, save or capture images and adjust contrast and brightness levels.

The iDex folds up to 8”x2”x3” (20x5x7.5 cm) and comes with its own stylish carry bag but will fit into most computer cases.

The iDex has been designed for many applications hence its versatile form. It can be angled to see in every direction while giving lots of working room and height.

Snapshots
Press a key and the iDex takes a snapshot of what it sees. This can then be viewed later. It maybe the board at the front of a classroom or an image for word processing. Save it to file for future use.

Split screen
If you use a screen magnification program, you can divide your computer screen into two parts. One part can display the Windows application you are using say the word processor and on the other part show the image from the iDex. The screen can be sectioned to suit the way you work.
