What is QuickReader?
QuickReader is the first high-spec, stand-alone reading system at a fantastic price. QuickReader will scan and read all your printed text. No more waiting for a visitor to call - QuickReader gives you your independence and privacy.

What can it do?
With QuickReader you can read your own mail: be it your bank statement, utility bill or letters. It will also read your magazines, books, newspapers, instruction booklets and even allows you to understand till receipts and junk mail. Just place the printed text on the Canon book-edge scanner and press the green READ button on the high-contrast, tactile keypad. In seconds the QuickReader will speak out the text with Jane or Daniel, the two best, human-like voices on the market.

So Easy To Use

Switch on. (This takes about 50 seconds)
Place your document on the scanner, facing down, in any direction.
Press the green READ button. (In less than 30 seconds QuickReader will be reading your document to you)

QuickReader is packed with great features which you can use to navigate through the text. Scanned documents can be saved with your own voice recording. Simply record a a name and description to identify your documents so you can read them later, no need to re-scan. The high-contrast and tactile keypad makes using QuickReader easy.

QuickReader only needs one socket to power the system.
