Straightforward to use, the VISIO magnifier / CCTV is a full colour automatic focus magnifier that has an extensive range of coloured texts and background options which is ideal for the low vision user. The VISIO magnifier / CCTV is impressively engineered with lots of space between the camera and the table, which can be locked in both the horizontal and vertical positions and is illuminated by two sets of LED lighting units positioned to reduce potential glare off shiny surfaces and give a more even spread of light. Useful functions of the VISIO magnifier / CCTV include user colour selection and intelligent focus which will automatically determine when you are writing. The VISIO magnifier / CCTV incorporates the latest software programming that allows the low vision user to write without the picture going out of focus. It also has automatic brightness sensing, if a dark picture is placed on the table it automatically brightens and vice versa preventing dazzle from glare.
If you have ever moved a heavy standard magnifier /CCTV unit, you’ll appreciate the fact the VISIO magnifier / CCTV can pack down to a very small size, and at only 11 kilos, is half the weight of a standard unit too. The unit arrives flat-packed and is easily assembled with only 8 screws.
